The TPS74401 low dropout (LDO) linear regulator is an easy-to-use and robust power management solution for a wide range of applications. The soft start is user-programmable, allowing for a reduction in capacitive inrush current during startup, minimizing stress on the input power supply. The soft start is monotonic and suitable for powering many types of processors and application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs). With the enable input and power good output, sequencing with external regulators can be easily performed.
